ABOUT US

We are Eva and Miha Pešak, the founders of Ambergal cattery. We have cultivated our love for animals throughout our lives, animals accompany us on a daily basis even on our professional veterinary path. After careful consideration, we founded a small family cattery named Ambergal in 2022. Our goal is to breed healthy, intelligent and breed-typical Bengal cats. 

The desire to establish a cattery started shortly after the arrival of our first kitten, Oli. He completely charmed us and we soon thoroughly explored the world of cats, which still fascinates us every time. After more than two years of thinking, the decision was finally made to buy our first purebred cat - a Bengal.

Why Bengal? We were looking for an energetic, curious breed that would go well with Oli's personality. In addition to their fascinating appearance, Bengal cats have a really wonderful character, which we immediately fell in love with. Although we had some worries while waiting for the arrival of our Frida - that she may be too loud or that we might not be able to cope with her high energy - all these worries were in vain, because we got a wonderful kitten with very stable personality and we can not imagine spending another day without her. And that's exactly what we want for the future owners of her kittens.
